Pisaura acoreensis

The Pisaura acoreensis is one of the most abundant arthropods in the Laurel Forest of the Azores and can usually be found at ground level, but also at the level of the tops of several trees and native shrubs, and on small areas of natural pasture. It is the biggest endemic spider of the Azores (11 millimetres).
