"Why does the Earth shake?" activity – Graciosa

Does seismic activity fascinate you? If so, participate in this workshop where you will have the opportunity to create a homemade seismograph.

With this action, the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change intends to celebrate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction and make you aware of the conduct you should have in the event of an earthquake, as we live in a region susceptible to this kind of natural phenomenon.

This activity is integrated into the Graciosa Island Biosphere Reserve.
