With the organization of the  Regional Secretariat of the Environment and the Sea, the Terceira's Natural Park welcomes from September 26 to October 2, a formation program with the participation of the Nature Watchers of Terceira, Graciosa, S. Jorge and Santa Maria. This action, which lasts for seven days, aims to provide these professionals an update of technical knowledge essential to a quality operating performance, taking into account the new organization of the Azorean Protected Areas with the establishment of the Natural Parks of Island.

It will be address various topics, including: water resources, waste, environmental education, nature conservation, environmental law, civil protection and first aid, information technology, fauna, flora and geology.

This initiative will also have sessions on the islands of Faial and São Miguel.
