The Environmental Centres are structures designed to promote knowledge and conservation of protected areas, landscapes, habitats, geosites, remarkable species or other elements of environmental interest.
It is up to the Environmental Centers to produce and maintain exhibitions as well as to provide specialized information on environmental values that are associated with promoting and regulating the visitation in areas where these values have a particular expression.
